【Call for Participants】 Shopping Experience Study in a Convenience-Store Replica
We are recruiting participants for a research study at the Graduate School of Information Sciences, Intelligent Control Systems Laboratory, Tohoku University. In this study, you will complete a short shopping task in a convenience-store replica while wearing wearable devices. The study aims to understand shopping experiences in a realistic experimental environment.
Time & compensation
- Duration: ~40 minutes
- Compensation: 1,000 JPY
What you will do
- Complete a short shopping task in a replica store environment
- Experience a session in which the store environment may present visual information during shopping
- Answer a brief questionnaire before the session
What you will wear
- Mixed-reality headset (Meta Quest Pro)
- Apple Watch
Who can join
- Adults aged 18 or older
- Comfortable wearing a VR/MR headset and a smartwatch
Safety note
VR/MR experiences may cause discomfort (e.g., dizziness, eye strain). You may stop or take a break at any time, for any reason.
How to participate
- Book an available time slot using the booking website
- Complete the pre-experiment questionnaire before your scheduled session
- Come to the experiment location at your booked time
