Research Student
Applicants who wish to conduct research on a special topic may, through
selection processes, be permitted to be admitted as non-degree research
students, provided that such admission will not pose any obstacle.
Before submitting documents for screening, applicants must obtain the approval
of their prospective supervisor to be accepted.
In addition, applicants residing outside Japan who have obtained such approval must contact the Educational Affairs Section of the GSIS regarding the application procedures by the end of October of the year preceding their intended enrollment if they wish to enroll in April, or by the end of April of the same year if they wish to enroll in October.
