講演概要：

　This talk examines how an abrupt and largely unexpected macroeconomic shock affects local labor markets, using a historical natural experiment.
Exploiting cross-regional variation in exposure prior to the shock, I apply a difference-in-differences approach to identify the short-run causal effects on region- and industry-level employment.
