本学に所属する外国人留学生、外国人研究者・教員等に関わる出入国在留管理庁の手続きについて、以下のとおり在留許可手数料の額の改定（値上げ）および減額措置のお知らせがありました。
令和8（2026）年10月1日（木）申請分より対象となり、特に長期の在留期間申請等については大幅な値上げとなります。

１．在留許可手数料の額の改定等のお知らせ
2026年10月1日（木）から、在留資格変更許可、在留期間更新許可および永住許可に係る手数料の額が改定されます。
また、オンライン申請に対する許可または交付手数料については、従来の収入印紙による納付方法から、コンビニ決済または銀行決済による納付方法に変更となります。

２．在留許可手数料の減額措置のお知らせ
2026年10月1日（木）から、一定の条件を満たす場合に在留許可手数料が減額される措置が開始されます。

We would like to inform you that the Immigration Services Agency of Japan has announced revisions to the fees for residence permits, as well as new discount measures.
These changes will apply to procedures involving international students, researchers, faculty members, and their dependents affiliated with our university.
The changes will take effect for applications submitted on or after October 1, 2026. In particular, fees for long-term residence applications will increase significantly. We kindly ask each department to inform relevant individuals and take necessary actions as needed.

1. Revision of Residence Permit Fees Effective October 1, 2026, the fees for Change of Status of Residence, Extension of Period of Stay, and Permission for Permanent Residence will be revised. In addition, the payment method for online applications will change from revenue stamps (Shuunyu Inshi) to convenience store or bank payments.
