The paper "Approximability of the Independent Feedback Vertex Set Problem for Bipartite Graphs," by Yuma Tamura (Department of System Information Sciences, Zhou-Suzuki Lab., DC2) et al. was selected as the Best Student Paper Award of the 14th International Conference and Workshop on Algorithms and Computation (WALCOM 2020).

The conference was held online due to COVID-19 during March 31 - April 02, 2020, and Yuma Tamura gave a presentation as the first and corresponding author of the paper.
