Michael Ryan Zielewski (Takizawa Lab MC2) and others won the HPC IN ASIA POSTER AWARD

Michael Ryan Zielewski (Department of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Takizawa Lab MC2(DSP student)), Mulya Agung (Tohoku University Cyber ​​Science Center researcher(DSP OB)),  Prof. Ryusuke Egawa (Tokyo Denki University), and Prof. Hiroyuki Takizawa have received the HPC IN ASIA POSTER AWARD from the ISC 2020 Committee.

 

ISC High Performance is a top-level international conference in the high performance computing research field.
Held annually, this is one of two conferences announcing the latest TOP500, a list of the world's 500 fastest supercomputers. The best poster award for HPC in Asia is presented to one outstanding poster presented at ISC High Performance 2020 Digital.
This poster focuses on quantum annealing, one of the latest technologies used in high performance computing, and not only reviews the technical challenges related to current hardware, but also discusses practices for improving performance.
